Happy Mother''s Day

Wishing all of our Mothers, Step Mothers, Grandmothers & Fur Mothers a Happy & Blessed Mother's Day! We love & appreciate all you do !

You might have noticed that most of our portrait sessions are on the beach.  So we love it when clients ask for a location that’s off the beach.  This one happened to be right across the bridge on the waterway.  But with the greenery and the trees, at the new Sunset Beach Park, in Sunset Beach NC you wouldn’t know that you can still hear the waves crashing!

This sweet family were perfectly embraced in the gorgeous evening light.  The kids & parents loved the laid back shoot. And I loved getting a spark of new creativity with a blank canvas that comes with a new shooting location.

One of the sweetest celebrations in life is baby's first birthday! This little sweetie arrived in the most adorable dress for her portraits prior to the cake smash. Baby A was all smiles…Her little personality was so bubbly and happy.  Her parents have planned a Mini Mouse themed birthday party for her, so we incorporated those elements into the cake and backdrops!

Baby's first year goes by so quickly…in the blink of an eye. The first birthday marks a big celebration! The celebration of life…of coming through the first year and all of the changes! It deserves to be captured and I must say I always have so much fun at these sessions! 

Babymoons are all the rage right now, and beautiful pregnant bellies are a common site on North Carolina beaches. We had the absolute pleasure of photographing a lifestyle babymoon maternity session in our home studio as well on Sunset Beach, NC recently, and couldn’t be more thrilled with the results. It was such a dreamy session. The shoot began in the late afternoon at our studio for some beautiful shots of this expecting mom.

We were then able to take advantage of the gorgeous golden evening light as the beach was quieting down. It was the a wonderful way to document a  family vacation while celebrating their soon to be new addition!

To say I simply adored working with this genuine beauty would be an understatement.  I absolutely LOVED photographing Kayla! It’s pretty obvious that she is a natural beauty, but her beauty isn’t just on the outside, it’s on the inside too! Congrats on your upcoming graduation from Southeastern Christian Academy. I know the best is yet to come for you!

I adore these photos of this sweet little baby modeling bunny outfits for one of our commercial clients. Of course we had to get a formal photo of her modeling her Easter Dress as well.
